Hello for now- Goodbye for now

Today's song: The Beatles- Hello Goodbye

Only half a term of my PGCE left and I have rather mixed emotions. On one hand I'm excited about having my first proper job (fingers crossed a permanent one) and not having to write essays (I'm sick of talking about 'paradigms' and 'qualitative research') however, I quite like being a student, the camaraderie and the lack of accountability. Plus, what if I don't get a job? It's a scary thought, supply work intimidates me- though at least I will have money.

So, I'm about to complete my final block placement, teaching 80% of the timetable, which is the same as a newly qualified teacher! I also have some bits of work to finish off and have to complete my evidence file. Therefore I haven't blogged for a while. And therefore I'm not going to blog until the end of term. Unless I feel like it. I thought it would be polite to let you all know and say thanks for still being a follower!

I still read blogs quite a lot, but generally first thing in the morning in quite a passive way so I often don't comment, for which I apologise. I will try and get back to commenting regularly this term, but there may be nothing to comment back on!

Until then, here's a link to the penguin cam at Edinburgh Zoo- it often helps me procrastinate.

And here's a jolly nice looking cocktail which I found on Pinterest (here) Elderflower liqueur, prosecco, and cucumber- perfect for the sunny days that may eventually happen. Not entirely sure where to get elderflower liqueur- can anyone help?

Well, thanks for dropping by, hope to write again soon!

I'm pretty sure that elderflower liqueur is something my mum could make. She's making elderflower cordial for my wedding and she makes sloe gin. So yes, tis possible. In fact, we are having elderflowerfizzz AND prosecco so if I just bring along the cucumber, we could have these!! Good luck with the job hunt!! Keep going, you're doing so well!x
