Trendy stuff: Flat shoes

So according to my Elle Collections Autumn/Winter 08, flat shoes for evening are 'in'. I think 90% of girls have been wearing flats anyway regardless of fashion! There are so many lovely flat shoes out there, I can't be bothered with crippleing myself (unless the shoes are very beautiful).
Shoes are an issue for me, because my boyfriend is only half an inch taller than me. Sometimes I think 'blagh I will wear those pretty heels anyway', like Katie Holmes, but then I feel all awkward and decide to stick to the Carla Bruni route of pretty ballet flats.
So, when I have a bit more money, I'm definitely treating myself to a pair of French Sole ballet pumps. They come in so many different colours, but I want some shiny gold ones. My favourites are the quilted ones.
They are £70 which my budget won't stretch to at the moment. Luckily, New Look has a great range of flats at decent prices. I like these brouge ones as the whole brouge thing is quite 'now' and probably not worth spending a lot of money on. Only £20 woop.
Topshop is my favourite place for reasonably priced, quality shoes. They are always very comfortable and have interesting designs. My Mum and I share a passion for purple shoes and these are crazy and only £25. Plus I love t-bars.
Seeing as it is almost back-to-school time, I thought I would throw in some cute black flats. I need some for work anyway. Barratts always have a wide selection at reasonable prices, so I will probably be buying these soon. They are only £18 which is plenty for work!
